The Clausons
Maine grown, family run.
Ledge Hill Farm is 15 acres at the top of a hill in Readfield, Maine. We plant, shear and mow the rows ourselves. Every tree we sell is Maine grown, from our field or from other Maine tree farms.
In the off season we are out in the field. From late fall on we are at the barn on weekends, handing out saws, running the baler and pouring hot chocolate.
How the farm grew
A Christmas tree takes eight to ten years.

The first rows

Look west from the field and you can see Mt. Washington and the Western Maine mountains.

Every tree on the lot was grown in Maine, either in our own rows or on other Maine farms.
Made by hand
Wreaths, swags and window boxes are tied in our workshop from our own balsam.
Room to wander
No rush. Walk the rows, sit by the fire, and stay as long as you like.
